The network is expected to be versatile, to include stakeholders from the entire range of services and specialties relating to the return and reintegration of TCNs in countries of origin, as well as professionals from various hierarchical levels. The network establishment will support the collection of information, legislation analysis, as well as it will identify possible resources and best practices that will provide opportunities for both the public institutions capacity improvement and other NGOs working in this field.

The Voluntary Return Network’s specific objectives will be:

  • exchange of information among related stakeholders
  • exchange of evidence-based practices
  • develop and manage a database of resources on voluntary return
  • develop a collaborative framework among national and European public services and other relevant stakeholders
  • build the professional capacity of the Network’s members
